Movie Review: Twilight

Twilight

Cooling off for the weekend I watched a movie to destress myself. The movie was Twilight. I must say, I found this movie to be very good. I really liked it. Twilight also has shades of fantasy in it. Although, it is actually a romantic fiction. The main character is this girl, Bella who had a divorced mother. Her mother remarries a new man. She stays with them and not her lonely real father. So when a situation arises that her ‘new’ father and mother had to hit the road, this girl has to shift in with her real dad. The real dad is by profession a Police chief of the town and by default a very silent but very adorable character which all viewers will definitely like.

The vampire in the Twilight is played by Robert Pattinson whose character name in Edward Cullen. A handsome, alluring human vampire. His love interest Bella is played by Kristen Stewart.

The movie Twilight was really interesting because the girl (Kristen Stewart) then falls in love with a vampire. The vampire looks like a normal guy (Robert Pattinson) attending school but he harbors love to this girl with divorced parents. Everything about him is alluring- handsome and very mysterious, soon the girl falls for him. Although the guy says that he does have to control himself an awful lot from drinking her blood. He even fears kissing her due to the thought of losing his control on his vampire instincts and maybe harming the girl.

What follows in the Twilight movie is a very interesting drama where the guy introduces her to his vampire family(who are shocked since the yearn human blood) and exposes her to his very different world. However, although the family and the guy overcome the temptation of drinking her blood due to their love other anonymous vampires in the vicinity thirst for her blood. In the movie then ensues the battle between the vegetarian vampires and the blood-thirsty vampire to protect the girl who a member of their clan loves.

Twilight is a great movie- a romantic treat with some awesome background scores and music. I really liked the scenario and visual effects in the movie The Twilight Original Soundtrack is really grand and provides the desired impact on the audience. Robert Pattinson’s two songs also have been included in the movie.
