My latest addiction on the television these days is watching ‘How I Met Your Mother’. And I must say the scene stealer in this comedy series is Neil Patrick Harris. Neil Patrick Harris does the role of Barney ‘Suit-Up’ Stinson in How I Met Your Mother and I have to confess he is one greatly talented gay, I mean guy. Did I tell you people that he is gay? Well, yea he is. Of course, like you never knew! Anyways, so whenever Neil Harris enters the scene I brace up quickly for some really awesome laughs. This guy can make you laugh so much. Barney Stinson is basically a character in How I Met Your Mother who is a skilled serial womanizer who is scared of commitment and is so very brutally honest with his friends.
Harris made his lines in How I Met Your Mother into classics. Who can ever forget the line “This is going to be Legend—ary.” and my all time favorite, “Suit up!”
But I knew this blond shrewd looking fellow from his earlier appearances in Harold and Kumar where he plays a fictional character of himself. Although the fictional character was a dazy nymphomaniac, the role was lovable and hilarious as usual, wherever Neil Patrick Harris is concerned.
Harris has a movie slate for release on July 30,2010 called Beastly wherein he is portrayed as a blind tutor at the school. He will be alongside alongside Alex Pettyfer and Vanessa Hudgens.

Neil Patrick Harris is also a big fan of magic and can perform magic. The character in How I Met Your Mother is also a magician much like in the real-life of Harris. Harris won the Tannen’s Magic Louis Award in 2006 and hosted the 2008 World Magic Awards on October 11, 2008. Lastly, he is also among the Board of Directors of Hollywood’s Magic Castle.
