Pop Singer Charles Haddon Commits Suicide At Belgian Festival

Charles Haddon, the lead singer of Ou Est Le Swimming Pool, a London based music band died at the Belgian festival. Ou Est Le Swimming Pool is three-piece band which . Charles Haddon was only 22. At the Pukkelpop festival in Belgium the singer and his band were performing. The statement released by the police claimed that the singer decided to “take his life” after performing with his band. They are treating the death of Charles Haddon as a suicide.

It seems that Charles Haddon after performing with his band, leapt from a telecommunications mast behind the stage at the Pukkelpop festival. The singer fell from the mast to the parking area on Friday night.

The band was due to perform at the Frequency Festival in Austria on Saturday, followed by their second appearance at Bestival on the Isle of Wight in September.

It is indeed sad that talented singers like Haddon decide to take their own life, even when their band is doing so well. Celebrity life seems more and more ugly as we read cases such as these. The reason why he plunged to his death is unknown.

Movie Review: Salt Leaves A Bitter After-Taste

If you are planning to spend  money watching Salt at your nearest theater, think again. Angelina Jolie as a Russian spy may sound hot but, the movie sucks even before it completes the first fifteen minutes. The movie – as bizarre as it may seem starts with a Angelina Jolie aka Salt working for the Central Intelligence Agency, until a defector is caught and claims that Salt was in fact a Russian spy.

The CIA immediately locks up Salt in an interrogation room, because she is then suspected as the spy who CIA thinks is planted to kill the US President. OMG! The story line sucks as  much as Angelina does in this pathetic spy movie- the worst which has come in a long time. Considering, we have had movies like Bourne series, Spy Game and Body Of Lies to quench our thirst of spy-flicks.

Angelina Jolie goes from being a CIA agent to Russian spy in a matter of few frames of the film. Her character begins to take on the whole of the US Federal government on her own in the next few minutes. Salt goes on a rampage killing the US President, SWAT teams…who not! She  performs among the most insane fighting moves that do not look even 0.02 % convincing. I have seen even more difficult fight stunts made to look more convincing.

The movie seems to be made for the sake of it. Fail to understand what Sony Picture had in mind while allowing its production. Salt is directed by Phillip Noyce. What I am scared of now is that Angelina Jolie is now talking about a sequel to Salt 1. Will we get to watch more of this BS? Let us wait and watch.
