Movie Review: Salt Leaves A Bitter After-Taste

If you are planning to spend  money watching Salt at your nearest theater, think again. Angelina Jolie as a Russian spy may sound hot but, the movie sucks even before it completes the first fifteen minutes. The movie – as bizarre as it may seem starts with a Angelina Jolie aka Salt working for the Central Intelligence Agency, until a defector is caught and claims that Salt was in fact a Russian spy.

The CIA immediately locks up Salt in an interrogation room, because she is then suspected as the spy who CIA thinks is planted to kill the US President. OMG! The story line sucks as  much as Angelina does in this pathetic spy movie- the worst which has come in a long time. Considering, we have had movies like Bourne series, Spy Game and Body Of Lies to quench our thirst of spy-flicks.

Angelina Jolie goes from being a CIA agent to Russian spy in a matter of few frames of the film. Her character begins to take on the whole of the US Federal government on her own in the next few minutes. Salt goes on a rampage killing the US President, SWAT teams…who not! She  performs among the most insane fighting moves that do not look even 0.02 % convincing. I have seen even more difficult fight stunts made to look more convincing.

The movie seems to be made for the sake of it. Fail to understand what Sony Picture had in mind while allowing its production. Salt is directed by Phillip Noyce. What I am scared of now is that Angelina Jolie is now talking about a sequel to Salt 1. Will we get to watch more of this BS? Let us wait and watch.

Twilight Team Back From Vancouver

The Eclipse team has finally done its set of reshoots in Vancouver!! Well, all of us had expected that because of the shoots the release date of the Eclipse will be postponed a bit. But read on to hear the good news!!!!

Eclipse will still be released on June 30! A guy from Summit Entertainment spoke that these reshoots had been planned for months in advance. Therefore they will not have any effect on the releasing date of the movie. Well now at least all of us can take a sign of relief! The Twilight team was in Vancouver with Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. We have been closely watching the reshoots and we should tell you those scenes are pretty awesome. Rob and Kristen were finally reunited in Vancouver. We also heard about a little outing of Robert Pattinson with his friend Sam Bradley.

Eclipse is known to be the third movie for the Twilight Saga. The other two were The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Twilight. Recently the director of the  Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn was announced. It will be directed by Oscar Winner Bill Condon. Infact the script is already being written by Melissa Rosenberg.

Welcome back home Mr Pattinson! We have missed you and your guitar (aka one true companion by him) a lot while you were up in Vancouver…………… Now that the filming is done, the countdown can finally begin, Currently its 59 days until Twilight is released…
