Kaka to Real Madrid

Ricardo Kaka has finally made the switch from AC Milan to Real Madrid. The Spanish media had began to claim that a €65 million transfer for acquiring Kaka had been as good as done for some time. It was now that it has finally been confirmed by Real Madrid and AC Milan.

Ricardo Kaka moves in with the Galacticos as they attempt to get an edge over their bitter rivals in the league by the name of Barcelona. I think that Ricardo Kaka might as well be the edge that Real Madrid have been looking for to defeat the supremacy held by The Catalans.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez had earlier promised when he was newly posted that he would bring big names to Real Madrid and restore it to its former glory. The typical Real Madrid approach for victory has always been about buying out the best players in the market. Somewhat snobby! Anyways, Perez had Ricardo Kaka as the first player on his Galacticos list and not surprisingly. Cristiano Ronaldo is the next in the sights of Real Madrid (frustrating for Manchester United fans, it is for me).

In what I think is really sad, Ricardo Kaka also said at the press conference that the world financial crisis had affected Milan badly and at the board meeting it was mutually agreed that it would be best for everyone to sell him to Real Madrid.

With the Brazilian forward in Real Madrid, AC Milan issued the following statement-

“From next season, Kaka will play at Real Madrid. Milan thank Kaka the man and the great champion for his decisive contribution to the many victories over the last six years.

“It will be very difficult to fill the void that Kaka will leave, as he is a shining example of commitment and professionalism. A. C. Milan, on behalf of the Rossoneri managers, players and supporters, send him the most cordial and affectionate wishes for the continuation of his sporting career.”

In the press conference, Kaka was asked about the No. 5 jersey. Kaka was expected to take over the No. 5 jersey donned by the football’s greatest Zinedine Zidane, “it would be a big responsibility” is what Kaka has reasoned.

“Together we will win many titles and become champions of Spain and Europe.” Ricardo said.

Kaka also told that it was no other than his ex-team mate David Beckham who gave him advice on the switch to the Spanish Giants. Finally, he admitted that the deal had been closed “a long time ago”, but he decided to wait until the clubs had released an official statement. Like he had a choice.

However, it is generally seen that big stars in Real Madrid fail to shine like they did in their previous clubs. Will Ricardo Kaka be one of them is question to be answered. One thing is sure that this Brazilian playmaker, Kaka is definitely a talent in modern football.

This post is for all those naysayers who say that money on internet is like a mirage in desert, you always seem to earn but not get any. Well, neobux, for one did clear all my misonceptions about that fact with an immediate payment at the payout value to my Alertpay account, incase, you do not know what is Alertpay- it is an online bank like Paypal.

Neobux is a site which pays you for surfing the ads that it displays, they show four ads everyday, so you can earn incrementally by clicking on them. And before you know it, you reach payout.

Also, I attribute this quick payout to the risk I took of renting referrals. I paid for renting referral through the neobux balance itself so it pretty much insulated a lot of risk.

Neobux

So I would like to think that the low payout was one reason for succesful earning and neobux is a totally legitimate site, so no worries for you guys just go ahead and join it. Here is the link – neobux.

I have had quite a few brick-bats and flames that rant against my intention on monetizing my blog. They think it’s greedy, selfish, even evil. Now how is that?

Money is important, everyone knows that. It pays for my internet connection, my computer maintenance, electricity- anything that I require to blog and sustain it on the internet. So I just figured that the blog should pay for it’s own running. I am giving my most precious thing to it, my time.

Then I have seen, bloggers who put a small ad box at the corner of their page, they half-heartedly commit to the necessity of monetizing their blog. I suggest either you put-it-all or don’t do it at all. Moreover, I consider that the advertisements that might come up on this page atleast one of them has got to be of your interest. Now if I had ads about something irrelevant, then your criticising would be accounted for.

I always maintain a personal connection to my readers, like I am doing now and they must understand that earning money is not bad and doing it through a blog is not bad at all. Simply because blogging is almost full-time for most people. Considering that one has to convert his passion into bread.

A quality blog can never run purely for the want of money, the real passion and the efforts are always transparent to the readers. I believe in this fact and that is the main reason why you may want to read this blog again because you find that, it’s not only about the advertisements. Ads are just hanging out with you, they are not affecting your browsing quality. It might even help you someday.

Today, I feel like writing about India’s ethnic retail cloth franchisee, Fabindia.

Everyone who is Indian has always indulged in something from this expensive but elegant franchise Fabindia. This not only sells traditional indian clothing but also ethnic, bedsheets, doormats, strawmats and a lot of other apparels and items.

But did you know Fabindia was founded by a foreigner. In 1958, well before American companies were sourcing from India, John Bissell left his position as a buyer for Macy’s New York to work as a consultant for the Ford Foundation in order to develop India’s export potential in its emerging textile industry. What Bissell discovered was a village-based industry with a profusion of skills hidden from the world.

In 1975, Fabindia established its first retail store in Greater Kailash, Delhi.

There are also divisions such as Fabindia organics for spices, sugar, tea, coffee and Fabindia Sana for bodycare lotions, soaps, oils – all these are of ethnic value.

This article is derived from Indiamarks. For knowing more click on the link.

This one might interest entrepreneurs. Fabindia is a brand that does not advertise. It, in fact, celebrates the success of its copycats. And now Fabindia, the craft-conscious enterprise, is a Harvard Business School (HBS) case study.

“It is like playing a tennis match at centre court, Wimbledon in front of a packed stadium. It’s a great honour,” says Mr. Sunil Chainani, Director, who has shared the Fabindia story at IIM-A, and has presented it at HBS.

Personally, I feel Fabindia is a retail store out of reach for the middle-class and only caters efficiently to the upper-class or the visiting foreigners. However, it is not too bad if you indulge once in a while as the prices of goods are a premium.

Early 2008 and late 2007, the time when the economy was on a high, it is finally over. Late 2008, big names in banks like Lehman brothers have filed for bankruptcy. More than 81 companies have filed for bankruptcy in the USA.

International Labour Organization (ILO) predicted that at least 20 million jobs will have been lost by the end of 2009 due to the crisis – mostly in “construction, real estate, financial services, and the auto sector” – bringing world unemployment above 200 million for the first time.

Factors for Recession

Credit Crunch: It is because of the sub-prime lending to borrowers by banks. Sub-prime lending in essence means lending to people who were never likely to afford the interest payments in the long-run. Some extreme theories suggest that the banks lend out loan to borrowers even on acknowledging their inabilty to pay back the loan. On an unsuccesful repayment by the borrower it led to seizure of collateral and foreclosure ( it is an asset such as a property that is pledeged as security while applying).

This induced a tremendous housing market correction of huge implications for pushing up credit costs worldwide. Because of this correction, a good number of Americans, European and Asian banks had to write down billions of dollars in holdings.

High Oil Prices: It is an important commodity in all countries around the world, the rising prices of oil resulted consequently in a drastic rise in food prices. This is primarily blamed on loose monetary policies and low interest rate of the Federal reserve.

Sulphuric Acid, an important chemical commodity used in almost all industries had a 3.5 times increase in prices in less than a year. The high prices of basic commodities affected the demand and production adversely.

To Blog or Not to Blog…that is the question!

Now a day’s it is in fashion to do only what you love as your profession. I definitely want to follow suit but in a third-world country like ours, you have to keep your love as a side-line and try to amalgamate the two things- your love and compulsion to finally end up with something that satisfies you. I like to write and yes, I am working on my book (barely!) but writing can help you with lot of other things. Such as, it helps me write this blog that as of now, very few people read.

But there are few things that really put me off on the internet, such as a blog which carries almost no concrete content but only serves commercial purposes. There are certain blogs which boast of over 600,00 unique visitors per day and hardly have anything worthwhile. Although I am highly tempted to name a few of these dirt-blogs, I will resist.

A blog is indeed a great way to earn a good revenue sitting at home. This case is exceptional for me as I neither sit at home nor do I earn a good revenue. Why is the blog a great revenue generator? Okay, you get to put the Google Ads, true but now it’s too slow and too many other people are doing it. A blog with a huge traffic can always afford to advertise privately, I mean that blogs that have good traffic can lure private advertisers who pay more and in turn improve your return of investment. You can even end up endorsing a service which you, yourself might be able to provide which might be anything from advising on home-keeping to how to browse channels on the television (this was a joke!).

They always say that first get a good blog-following then think of the money. That is all that keeps me running as I keep chipping away on this blog day in and day out.

At the same time, I respect webmaster’s of blogs having a five-figure traffic each day and yet not having an inch of advertisement banner soil their page. It indeed requires superior levels of self-discipline or millions of dollars in their bank account. Whatever maybe the reason I refuse to call them dumb.

Therefore, it is highly advised that one blogs only if they are keenly interested and not in it purely for the monetary benefits, because even to acheive these benefits you need to work very hard on your blog and even then…it might not be enough.
